How Often a 20-Line Game Pays
Hit frequency is the share of spins that return something. On Gonzo’s Quest it is about two spins in five, on Jack and the Beanstalk about one in three, and on The Dog House a little over one in four. Many of those hits pay back less than the stake, though, so a high hit rate mostly changes how a session feels.
It says nothing about the return. Gonzo’s Quest pays most often of the four games with a published rate, yet has the lowest RTP of the five, while The Dog House pays less often and leans on its free spins for the big wins.
